As I sit here enjoying the “pleasure” of a blizzard that dumped 15 inches of snow and then concluded with an ice storm trapping me at the top of my long driveway, I contemplate with envy this month’s articles from the warmer climes of Australia, Bermuda, India and South Africa. However, Germany, New York, Oregon and the UK have also weighed in this week and, while not as frigid as here, at least they are not swimming at Bondi Beach, either.
